Ryan and Jenny Sersen have had a heart for reaching the homeless before they were married, as individuals participating in a variety of outreach efforts to the homeless community. Even at their wedding more than 6 years ago, they made sure some of their special displaced friends from the streets were welcomed guests at their wedding and reception dinner. In the past 7 years as a married couple, they have lead a variety of outreaches to the homeless communities, including feeding, housing, and meeting a variety of needs. The “nameless” homeless individuals HAVE names have become valued friends to them. Knowing that all of us encounter someone who is homeless, they are aware of the common concerns and questions people have about what to do or not do, how to help or not help. The G.I.V.E.
